'Fly' on the Eye [TOP100]
Utterly grieved by the death of the nearest one, this man sits still beside a shrine. While a fly pokes at the corner of his death-stricken face, he doesn't move a bit. I was at the place for about an hour and did not see him move a bit other than blinking.

Harsh Reality
Eid, one of the biggest religious festivals for Muslims in Bangladesh. Leaving their family in the village, most people live in Dhaka to earn their living. For this festival, they get a long vacation and want to go to their village to celebrate Eid with their families. But most of the time this journey becomes a traumatic one. To ensure they get to the right place during their travels, they sometimes put their lives at stake. This is the true but ‘harsh reality’ behind the picture.

Mother's Love
Love Of A Mother To her child The black-naped monarch or black-naped blue flycatcher (Hypothymis azurea) is a slim and agile passerine bird belonging to the family of monarch flycatchers found in southern and south-eastern Asia. They are sexually dimorphic, with the male having a distinctive black patch on the back of the head and a narrow black half collar ("necklace"), while the female is duller with olive brown wings and lacking the black markings on the head. They have a call that is similar to that of the Asian paradise flycatcher, and in tropical forest habitats, pairs may join mixed-species foraging flocks. Populations differ slightly in plumage colour and sizes. The adult male black-naped monarch is about 16 cm long, and is mainly pale azure blue apart from a whitish lower belly. It has a black nape and a narrow black gorget. The female is duller and lacks the black markings. Its wings and back are grey-brown. However, several geographically separated breeding populations differ in the extent and shade of markings. The Indian peninsula has subspecies H. a. styani(which subsumes H. a. sykesi of in which males have very distinct black markings and a whitish abdomen. Males of the Sri Lankan race H. a. ceylonensis lack the black nape and gorget and the shade is more purplish. The subspecies of the Andaman Islands, H. a. tytleri, has the underparts blue grey. The form on Car Nicobar Island, H. a. idiochroa, has a greyish white belly, while H. a. nicobarica from the southern Nicobars has a smaller and finer bill. The colour of the gape is yellowish to green. The black-naped monarch breeds across tropical southern Asia from India and Sri Lanka east to Indonesia and the Philippines. This species is usually found in thick forests and other well-wooded habitats. The calls are a sharp and abrupt skrip. The main breeding season in India is in summer from May to July. Two to three eggs are laid in a cup nest placed in the fork of a tree. The nest is decorated with spider-egg cases.

Color of daily life
While it is not the largest shipyard in the country (that honor belongs to the Chittagong Ship Breaking Yard), the Dhaka yard in the town of Keraniganj shares the seeming disregard for worker safety that can be found in simialr industrial sites around the country. The facilities, which employ around 15,000 workers at around $5 a day, work to both break down massive shipping vessels as well as create new ships from the parts. Workers can be seen torches and welding equipment to tears huge pieces of metal from the vessels, sans eye, hand, or face protection. Other workers will be found scaling the tall ships on ramshackle ladders or strolling along the high edges of the ship decks, the only thing to keep them from falling is their own balance. Injuries are common on the site, but the buzz of activity doesn’t stop. The ships being worked on are propped up on crude chalks creating the appearance that the river simply receded and left these hulks stranded on dry land. The space is tight so many of the boats are right up to small homes and other structures. This is clearly a worksite that is dangerous to its employees, and even more so to careless visitors. However local guides can be found who will assist anyone curious about the industrial dangers that still plague the world.

I was on a 2 days to tour in tanguar haor, sunamganj,Bangladesh. I was enjoying the beauty of that place. Suddenly i saw a group of kids are on the way to home after catching fishes. Usually, children go to school to gain knowledge but the kids in this photo are trying to earn bread and butter for their family so that they can contribute a little sum of money for them. It can be said that it was not a journey to catch fishes rather it was the journey to life.
