City visions
City people are living in a fast paced lifestyle. They tend to ignore and overlook the beauty of the urban architectural scenes in their busy schedule. This series is to appreciate the beauty of urban architecture scenes from different angles and perspectives. Shooting in black and white is key to this ambition, which lends an image something mysterious, nostalgic and dramatic.

A chili farmer decided to take a smoke break. Made a photo of him because his hoodie matched his skin tone. To top that up, the morning sun accentuated his skin and facial texture while trying to puff his cigarette in his left hand. Also, his cold stare during that cold morning helped to make him poised subtly against his land/backdrop.

Hell on Earth in Malaysia
Days & nights, hundreds of waste pickers mainly the Filipino illegal immigrants worked at waste dumps near Sabah, Malaysia to sort, gather and picking the garbage to be sold for recycling, as food and daily supplies for them and their families. The waste pickers not only worked at waste dumps but they also lived there with their families due to poverty. The trash had harmful and toxic chemical & biological components which contamination soil and ground water or emitted into the atmosphere after being burned in the form of gas polluting the air. The toxic gas is increasingly dangerous for waste pickers and child labour who breathe in toxic fumes on the daily basic. They worked and lived at terrible health consequences & numerous hazards. Waste pickers stepped over broken glasses & medical wastes, heavy metals in the metabolisms of children working there. Old Guard
Jahai are hunters, fishers and collectors, surviving on game, yam and fruit from the forests. Like most indigenous people, they are generally shy. It will take quite a while to earn their trust. For generations, they have been living in the secluded area of the Belum Rainforest Reserve, far from civilization. At 78, Komubu bin Pisang is the eldest in his village. He is the old, the wise and the guardian of the village.
