A series depicting the daily toil and work of street food hawkers and peddlers. All captured in Penang, Malaysia in the year 2019 before the global pandemic COVID19 outbreak in 2020.
A chili farmer decided to take a smoke break. Made a photo of him because his hoodie matched his skin tone.
To top that up, the morning sun accentuated his skin and facial texture while trying to puff his cigarette in his left hand.
Also, his cold stare during that cold morning helped to make him poised subtly against his land/backdrop.

The lion dance is a Chinese traditional dance where they perform every year on the festive season which is Chinese New Year. The Lion VS The Firecrackers is one of the performance (what i believed) where the lion shows it can scare off/defeat the evil spirits and bad luck.
