Aurora Bolearis, Kirkjufell, Iceland.
When we arrived in Grundarfjörður tonight after a full 500km move across half of Iceland (from Húsavík) the landlord said to us,
that "tonight will be aurora borealis", I had mixed feelings. I was looking forward to it (we've been hunting for it for 8 days), but I was pretty tired
to enjoy it. "Thankfully" :-), it came out until the next evening.
My first aurora and right in such a place. It's hard to describe those feelings when something happens in the sky that I've never experienced in my life ...
My expectations were not completely fulfilled, but because the aurora was quite weak.
But, the first is always the first ...
